Plum Picking

The allotment is full of tasty things; corgettes, runner beans and tomatoes.  In 'The Field' - the wild area next to the allotment - there are some old fruit trees including a large plum tree, its branches hanging low with the weight of their fruit.  We collected a few handfuls of plums  and an apple from the old apple tree to bring home and stew.  Delicious.
