Before the premiere
Oh, hi there. You can presumably notice that I'm not being very modern in this image. Well, this year I'm back in (summer) theatre again, playing a 19th century innkeeper's daughter, who manages to attract the very questionable attention of a famous Finnish writer named Juhani Aho.
The play "Aseman Kello" ("The Station Clock"), taking place at the railway station of a little Finnish village called Mellilä in the year 1888, happens to be written by my grandmother, who's a playwright. It's a certainly historic and local play and I'm really enjoying my role.
I must say the premiere went superbly and the crowd certainly loved us - nine more performances still to go, yay! :-)
