Apples

Work summer day out. Foxlake, with a rope course over a 'lake'. Followed by a visit to Thistley Cross cider shed. Both were excellent. 

Though I was a little worried the numerous taster samples, together with Instography's home brew beer at lunchtime, would have affected my croquet play in the final of the SCA doubles against Dave and Kevin.

I think they helped! It finished 26-12 in the gloom. Then off to the pub with Alan, Lesley - who had come to watch the last half hour - and Jane and Campbell. Haven't yet told them that I'll not be playing as much croquet next year.
