Borders Railway Opening

A momentous day for the local area as we get our railway line after more than 30  years wait. The queen was inside making her way to Tweedbank where the terminus is. As the railway line passes very near to where I work, I was able to take a blip from one of the bridges as the stream train came roaring past. A good atmosphere waiting for the train as we were all waiting expectantly.

Got some sad news today of a good friend who passed away. Only 52 and a real talent when it comes to photography. He was a world class sports photographer and a great guy. Please feel free to take a look at some of his images...
