Belted Galloways

I just love these cattle. Coming to Dumfries and Galloway I thought I would see more of them but I gather they are quite a rare breed now. Every time we drove past them we always seem to have traffic behind and it was not possible to stop and take a photo. As we were leaving today we were just able to pull in for a few minutes. I had not previously seen any calves so that was a real treat. I wish they had looked up but you can't have everything. Aren't they just gorgeous?
