Form and Function

Today has been very wet as you can see in this pic.  This object works as a bike stand and a piece of street art.  We are a mecca for mountain bikers.  Someone had the brilliant idea of recycling fallen trees from council reserves for these stands.  A local engineering company makes and fixes the stainless steel fittings.  It would have looked good with a bike in it  but I wasn't that lucky.
