GIANT TORTOISE TERRORIZES MONTPELLIER TODAY

You can see there are no shadows behind the pedestrians as there was no sun today - but the two buildings look as if they are in the sun. Both are trompe l'oeil - totally painted facades. The tortoise is the front of a tram! Montpellier has lots of trams and each line has different base colours and lots of vivid painting to brighten them up
