fallen leaf

Just now i found this photo: it is a watercolour i did in Ooty, Tamil Nadu, India some years ago.(i gave the original to a friend)
 
 And now, after an incredibly hot, suffocating summer, i am listening in awe and gratitude to the wonderful rain outside my studio windows.... all over the paths is a carpet of fallen leaves. AUTUMN is approaching!
