Bird Feeding Station - Phase II

Determined to make a stand against these pesky crows, I bought protective 'baskets' for two of the feeding cages.

According to their description, they protect against 'squirrels and large wild birds'.

Two crows did make an early tentative attack but left empty handed. Some small birds came along later and enjoyed their uninterrupted snacks.

May be a different story in the morning as that's when the 'big birds' are normally more determined and I have my spotting scope all set up to see what transpires.

There will, no doubt, be a phase III to this story!!
