Ringed Plover

I know yet another Plover, but this time just a Ringed Plover. If you notice this one has orange on the beak and bright orange legs and is a cheery,  more rounded little bird. The 'ringed' part of this birds name must be because of the darker rings around his or her neck and head. I've promised myself an Osprey photograph this weekend as I know where he lives, the only thing is that it involves an island and a boat ride! Watch this space. In Oman our weekend is of course Friday and Saturday, so ours starts tonight with a fantastic takeaway curry.
