King Edwards Bay, Tynemouth

Summer returned today. Unfortunately we were indoors almost the whole day as I was judging the Travel section of the NCPF International Salon. It meant a very early start as we had to leave home at 7.15 am to arrive by 9 am. That was allowing time to queue before driving through the tunnel and find somewhere to park. We arrived with just 10 minutes to spare. By contrast the journey home only took an hour.

This was taken at 3 pm and as you can see there are people on the beach and somebody was coming out of the water as we arrived. The north sea is a bit much too cold for me.

No time for comments now as it is our club meeting this evening and I need to get dinner first.
