Prunus Avium...
Or sweet cherry to you and me.
These little babies are not just photogenic, they are amazingly good for you too! I bought a punnet at the Farm Shop yesterday and had a handful after lunch. It's been years since I bought cherries and as I munched my way through them, I wondered why I hadn't bought them in so long. Funny how some things just fall off your radar.
I have been very busy today sorting out my social calendar (I should have been doing a million other things but it's all about priorities ;-)) Three lunches lined up and plans falling into place for the last weekend of the month, when D is taking himself off on his annual golf pilgrimage to Portugal. Got to make sure Ele, Gail, Natalie and I have decent plans in place whilst our husbands are off gallivanting.
Talking of socialising, we are taking Alan to his friend Lucy's 18th birthday party tomorrow night, back where we used to live. I am looking forward to it as I am sure we will see some faces we haven't seen for a long time. It will be lovely to catch up.
