Next in line

Until recently this view was obscured by this bit of glazed car park but that's now gone, along with its reflected walkway, in the Westgate demolition. This view will go next.

These buildings - part of the Westgate shopping centre - went up in the 1970s when the Victorian west end of Oxford that I've recently been writing about was destroyed. I wonder whether the shopping centre and car park will one day be regarded with nostalgia in the way that the Victorian terraces are now. If so, I have the photos.
