The only photo I took today.
I had hoped to have had a photo looking down over the Lake District hills as I flew over on my journey south on the beautiful clear day.  Unfortunately due to a massive traffic jam on the bypass and gridlocked roads all around  I missed my plane. Wiith a minute to spare I managed to get a train instead, which incidentally cost more than my flight had.  But there was no chance of taking any photos of the lovely countryside due to the cramped conditions on the crowded train so this is a quick blip of the roof of Manchester Piccadilly station from the next train which I just managed to get before the doors closed.   It had been a most frustrating journey.
