Celebrations

I was offered the job.
 
It's only a year contract, but that may be a good thing; lots of water must flow into the sea in a year. It's also for less money, but I trust that that won't be problem.
 
After the interview when they said that they were thinking of offering me the year contract with a starting date of the 21st, C decided to take next week off as I won't have enough leave to take with him to use up all of the leave he’s got left.
 
The plan was to stay at home, but last night we looked at self-catering places in Cornwall. There were nice places, but expensive. Then we looked at the forecasted weather – rain, rain & more rain & cold. So we randomly looked at the weather in Germany and it was much better.
We are leaving Saturday for a week in the Schwarzwald.
