Personal Imax

The girl child announced her latest invention the other night: the Personal Imax Movie Theatre.

It basically consists of two holes cut in a cardboard box - one for the iPad screen to show through, and one where your neck/head goes. You lie down on the floor, put the box over your head, place the iPad on top, and then watch episodes of The Big Bang Theory in perfect comfort, without having the awkward arm strain that usually ensues from holding the iPad.

Future enhancements include a way of funnelling the sound from the iPad speakers down into the box (although apparently the sound quality isn't too bad anyway), or possibly running a headphone cable through the box.

I can't decide whether this is genius or the worst idea ever. Either way, it keeps her quiet...
