More Gardening
Oliver came today to help with more gardening; we managed to get a lot of work done and all of the borders have now had their final weeding before the winter. As the shrubs and bushes grow, in some of the borders, they should be easier to keep tidy. There are hundreds of spring flowers in the garden, but due to the disruption in some parts of the garden, I am wondering where some of them will appear. The rockery is beginning to look more like a rockery and I have some Snowdrop bulbs to plant in that area. I am also planning to plant some more small bulbs in the rockery area as well as some ground cover plants.
Today’s picture shows part of one of the borders, which we cleared today. There are some small plants in this part of the border, but they are difficult to see. This border, although not very wide at this point, does widen out at the corner; it is also quite long, running all the way round to the end of the wall where it is much wider and forms part of the 'shade' border.
Other than that I did not have time to do much else!
