The Waverley
So after my last special blip fiasco with the aircraft, I kept this one firmly under my hat. Once a year The Waverley visits the island for about a week and gives trips around the Isle of Wight or to the Needles and back. She is a vintage paddle steamer, the last sea going paddle steamer in the world. She really is a sight to behold.
She was docking at Yarmouth Pier this lunchtime, to I took a wander up the pier and waited. I was really pleased with the shots I got; it was hard to choose which one to blip!
My extra is of her coming past Hurst Lighthouse. She's back in Yarmouth on Tuesday to weather and my memory permitting, I may be able to get some more photos.
