Merlin in a quandary - and a cornfield!

The field is cropped so we can play on it. Trouble is Mum threw the red ball for Bess and kicked the football for me - and Bess decided the red one is not hers and she won't take it back! I've got them together but I can't carry them both at once. Mum says 'bring it here' - but which one shall I take first?
