The Last Day!

The bitter sweetness of the last day in Toronto together! Bronwyn and Andrew headed out about noon, driving north to Muskoka. Susan, Morgan and I headed out, after cleaning up the apartment, to spend the last few hours down by the lake. Toronto has a wonderful boardwalk system that goes a very long way, and they have cleaned up the water so that folks can actually swim in Lake Ontario!!! We walked and chatted, then we found a quiet spot under some trees to chill out before we headed to the airport.

This guy was right beside us, doing all sorts of stretching and flexing exercises....we were intrigued! Then he headed down to the water's edge, piled up some sand and proceeded to get into a full head stand, looking out towards the water. I was fascinated, and by the time i got myself organized to take some photos he had quite an audience. We chatted with him afterwards....his name is David and he lives in Toronto and seems to be working towards becoming a yoga teacher.

Susan then drove us out to the airport, where we said our sad goodbyes to her, and morgan and i headed to her gate, where i had to say a tearful goodbye to her! I had an hour or so before my flight left! as i said a very bitter sweet day! I was so ready to go home to my quiet and beautiful world with Terry and the dogs, and the lovely wwoofers we have staying with us right now!

What a contrast it was....i left toronto in the heat of about 28 degrees and it went down to about 7 when we finally climbed into bed around 2 am! what a day what a trip!!! it was awesome!
