Blea Tarn

We had a leisurely start this morning and all met for breakfast before heading off to enjoy the warm sunshine in the Langdales. 

We all had a really lovely walk around Blea Tarn and had the company of a kestrel up close too.  He must have been hungry - I’ve never been that close to a hunting kestrel before.

Mum, dad, Rachel and Heidi had another night up there but Rich had to get back for work so we headed home, enjoying much talk about the couple of days we’d spent together. 

We picked up Little Dog from her holiday home and took her out for dinner at The Hermit up the road which finished off our break nicely.
