Square trees in the Square

One of my chums asked 'How on earth did they grow them like that'? She got a look before the rest of us started laughing.

The Town Hall square has been re-doodified with lovely square trees on three sides. I wonder how long they'll last before someone decides to add them to a bonfire.....

I think it looks quite French :)
