Pont du gard

Stopped this morning to view the pont du gard, an amazing ancient Roman aquaduct which is 56 feet long and at its peak used to carry 44,000,000 imp gallons of water a day - what a feat of engineering!
We stayed last night in the pretty little town of Arles.
