Music in Miniature 2: Fire screen
Last week I started a project to take a series of photographs of musically based items from my doll's house collection starting with a miniature lute with the view of creating a collage.
Today's entry is a fire screen with a music themed tapestry panel. I made the screen from a white metal and tapestry panel kit.
This was also in the way of an experiment in macro photography without using an expensive dedicated lens or camera. One of my magazines had an article on cheap or entry level alternatives and this suggestion struck me as easy and fun to try: use an iPad or camera phone with a magnifying glass. So here is the result - not too bad for a quick 10 min shoot using the ipad before rushing out to choir practise, and touch up in Photogene. I even got the £2 coin the right way up this time.
