Flower Friday: Lone Flame Tree flower

It's been a really good, quiet, day at home and I have not done much at all! For a few weeks now, I've noticed that the flame tree outside the window has got a flower. Very strange as it normally flowers in May/June but when walking to the car last week, I noticed a flower on the ground, I guess a few of them have got flowers. Nothing like the spring time...

And it is September 11th, and G & I watched a really interesting documentary on NatGeo channel about the 9/11 Surfer who survived a fall of 15 floors. Incredible story. Last year some of you shared of what you were doing on the day, and it was good to read how the day impacted other blippers.
