Green, Amber, Red

We were recently given a bag of what I thought was green apples which upon closer inspection, turned out to be green tomatoes.

They have been slowly ripening in a bowl on the window ledge. I think they're all destined to be made into chutney which will stink the house out but hopefully will taste nice.

And for Jojo's info, we call these tomatoes, not tom- ay-toes! (Sorry, couldn't resist teasing our lovely friend from across the pond :)
