Afternoon tea
Part of our HND course is all about exhibitions - not only going to see other people's work in galleries, but also, as a group, curating our own exhibition. In preparation for this, we visit local exhibition spaces with our tutors on Friday afternoons - the best ones all have cafes!
Here we are, taking tea at Nona Lou's in Dumfries. After this, we visited the Yellow Door, The Stove and the Baker's Oven.
I had already been to The Usual Place for coffee with D before he went to catch his train to London. After which, I had a rather frustrating time trying to work out why my new external flash won't fire when it is connected to the hotshoe. Alan, Ricky and I tried every option on the camera menu and in the manual to no avail. It works on other cameras, but not mine, even though it is meant to be compatible.
Tonight we are loading the car with Luke's stuff. He doesn't seem to have all that much, thank goodness.
