domestic bins ignored

Not only did I get to spend most of an entire almost-uninterrupted week doing some of the thing which really needed to be done and finding that it didn't take as long as I had been given based on medium-worst-case estimates but I get to spend most of next week doing more of the same sort of thing, using the stuff done this week and which makes doing the next bits much quicker and more possible.
