Floriade Opening

Today was a good but challenging day- physically,socially and as a parent. I came out of it successful but exhausted. I will sleep well tonight. 

I turned up at Floriade to locate my dispersed children and their respective carers, scanned the garden beds for a decent shot and decided to leave it for another day. Hardly a tulip in sight. Green stalks and buds everywhere. They've moved some of the seating from around the edge of this green expanse so the seat I was looking for was gone. 

The weather was simply gorgeous, though, and the entertainment was pretty good for the 10 minutes I listened.
