From the mountains.....

to the sea!!

We've been in recovery mode today, taking it easy after the long trek across the country.  We are lucky to be staying with my young brother and sister-in-law at their home which is right on the edge of the Indian Ocean.  It's been a boisterous day weather wise and we've spent much of it watching the gymnastics of the kitesurfers on the stormy seas right on our front doorstep.  This fellow was fantastic, sometimes launching himself metres into the air.

It was quite surreal to be watching this spectacle so far from home and on the other side of the country.  We're now plotting and planning our trip to the north of Perth to see the wildflowers and then in about a week we will pack the minimo and go in search of these incredible bursts of colour.
