Across the line

A quick jaunt across the state line to a doctor's appointment. I'm embarrassed to say that this was my first trip on the metro since (at least) May. My metro card was in shock at being used again.

The boundary marker is from 1791, and is one of 36 remaining markers that delineate the boundaries of DC as it was laid out originally. The pesky fence around it gets in the way.
