National Lacemaking Day

National Lacemaking Day is a chance for people to learn about lacemaking, its traditions and how it is still a living English tradition.

Today we were at a garden centre in Arborfield, lovely location and a steady trickle if people interested and "having a go". Here is a young lady on the "have a go" pillow, foinpg a snake pattern.

On the left is needlelace, this is my piece started today and the finished pattern - some way to go, may be a holiday project :)
