Low flying owl

This morning we went to the Cobham Village Heritage Day. Gavin wanted to see the vintage cars on display and I wanted to see the birds of prey. I could have spent all day watching those beautiful birds, and despite it being very windy they still managed to fly when instructed to do so (apparently the wind unsettles them).

We then went to watch Thomas' rugby match. It was a beautiful sunny day and perfect for taking photos. Thomas's confidence has really grown and it is almost as if a switch has been flicked on, because all of a sudden he is playing very good rugby. He scored two tries today, one of them being a run away try where he sprinted almost the entire length of the rugby pitch to score under the posts - it was very exciting! His team won with a score of 39-7. I have added an extra photo of the match.

The last few days have been very busy with no time to spend at the computer, but I plan to catch up on journals tomorrow.
