World Harmony Peace Statue

We went for a walk along the Cardiff Barrage this afternoon, the weather was brilliant. As we walked towards Mermaid Quay, I noticed this rather striking  bronze statue. It is the World Harmony Peace Statue, one of many placed in cities around the world. The idea being that we are all drawn closer together in peace and harmony.  I can think of several places in the world where one of these statues should be located, then on second thoughts it would probably be pinched for scrap or blown up!!!
