The Hunt

Came across one of the three prides today. They were getting a little peckish and were stalking a herd of Buffalo. The herd however, was too well guarded by the male members. Eventually the herd moved over the river and the lions had to wait another day. What was remarkable was despite us being very close, the lions completely ignored us, intent on their quest. (We were assured that if we got out of the jeep the lions would be very interested in us!)
I chose this shot because I think it shows their intention in their eyes.
