Thorny problem

The photographic pundits say you should never take pictures of flowers and plants in strong sunlight. Early this morning we had strong sunlight. Having lost Milly the mad spaniel, again, (that dogs nose), I had been calling and looking for her when I suddenly noticed this new rose briar shining out from a thicket. Rules are made to be broken. She came back, in her own time as usual.
