2:1

Despite today starting off badly there was good news this afternoon when my daughter Becky confirmed that her suspected 2:1 in psychology was officially confirmed. She's hundreds of miles away in Manchester but what with having me and Jen having missed spending our anniversary together on Sunday I thought a rather special treat was in order to celebrate. Sorry Becky but you missed it, wish you were here :)

Bad start was due to being woken up at 5am and not being able to get back to sleep, so when I left for work at 7:30 a full hour and a half earlier than normal the kitchen was sparklingly clean.

The day picked up though I had an uninterrupted day of webGL programming followed by the crunch match against Ukraine in the evening. Fortunately France stumbled badly so even a draw would have won us the group and not only a game against Italy rather than Spain but the game is on Sunday which means Jen will be able to catch it too. As it was England managed to hold on to a 1-0 nil lead and topped the group easily.
