Friends

It was lovely to get out last night as Liam has been very unsettled and wanting my presence all the time. He has been asking for me at school and wimpering my name. It makes me sad when he wants me so much during the day. He screamed when I left but settled quite quickly.
I met up with some very good friends who are all Palliative Care specialists. You may think that this makes for a rather a sad night out but not at all! We have shared the ups and downs of our lives for nearly 2 decades. Jennifer, far right, is my boss and you couldn't ask for a better one! I am very fortunate in that regard, as I spend a lot of time at work, in an environment that can be very demanding at times. We went to a lovely pub and had tapas and wine and some indulged in cocktails. A relaxing night out and Liam fast asleep on my return.......
