Friends

I caught these two Friesian cows laying in the sun enjoying each others company.  The one on the left has had fun with the hay and managed to put it all over her back.

Both these cows are yet to calve.  At least they are resting before the hard work of giving birth, and then enduring the daily grind of going to the milking shed twice a day. 

Another glorious spring day - it's a beautiful 17 degrees C.
