To the beach

On Monday mornings we go down to the valley to meet another English couple for a bit of chat in Catalan with a language volunteer... at least the chat should be in Catalan, but all too often it's not, because the husband of the other couple always speaks in English which makes it very difficult for Steve and I to concentrate on Catalan! The role of the language volunteer is to facilitate conversation but not to correct any mistakes, unless asked of course.

Then we headed for the coast as it made sense from a fuel point of view to carry on driving, since we were already 20 minutes from home. Rain had been forecast but we had lovely weather and were forced to go in the sea to cool off!
