Indoor games

It's been piddling down most of today.

So after a rather soggy walk with the dogs in the morning, we settled in for the day.

Fire on.

All nice and cosy.

The boys drew and played various games that had been gathering dust over the summer, whilst I cleared out some more cupboards and shelves.

We had friends from London round tonight.

We met them on holiday 2 years ago and it's the only time that I've kept in touch with someone from holiday.

About 6 months ago, in a bizarre twist of fate, her father moved from Cyprus over to Scotland not 7 miles from us!
So they came to visit him this weekend and managed to pop into us to for a catch up!

It was great to see them again and we had a good laugh.
