Robin's pincushion

Fascinating time in the wood with a serious plant gall expert, spotting knopper galls, artichoke galls, ramshorn galls, cola galls and this, also known as Bedeguar Gall (Diplolepis rosae).  Just in passing, also pointed out ploughman's spikenard, prickly ox tongue, nipplewort,  blue fleabane.  Wow!
