Laurie and Wally at Gan Gan

It was another glorious day today although not as warm as yesterday.  I went to Port Stephens to meet up with some friends for a Barbie at Bagnalls.  A very pleasant day.  Before leaving I had a look at a few sights with some walks and blips in mind for the future (take note Gitama and Sleepyhead).  This was taken at Gan Gan lookout which gives you sweeping views over the bay.  There were quite a few Gymea lilies out.  Quite spectacular flowers you will agree.  A few lorikeets were feeding on them but this one had a Wattle bird as well.  I was lucky to get this shot as a flotilla of tourists arrived as I was taking it, all very noisy, selfies, videos, groups shots, natter natter, more selfies, more nattering and then they went but by then so had the birds.  Still, one to remember for the future.
