Preparing for winter

Today was the second Saturday in the month and a day when we meet friends for lunch in Cambridge. After lunch we did some shopping and I bought a new pair of boots and some flowers. We visited the Green Coffee Company Café during the late afternoon for cake and coffee.
 
Then we visited our daughter’s home to give them some flowers as it is their Wedding Anniversary; more coffee was consumed.
 
The weather today was sunny and warm, as it was twenty-three years ago, but not as windy as that day when my hat blew down the street in Bury St Edmunds, stopping the traffic!
