New Free Bridge, Jackfield

The Free Bridge was built in 1909 at a cost of £1600 to avoid tolls on the Iron Bridge and Coalport Bridge. After continually having to be repaired, it was demolished in 1993 and replaced by Alfred McAlpine at a cost of £1.8m.
