Whitby Tales.

We walked into Whitby this morning, and it was packed. It was actually quite warm. We sat near the harbour front, and ate  some crab sandwiches, and a cup of tea. We then went onto the promenade, but i didn't like walking on the wooden boardwalk, as i could see the sea below. I know, I am a bit of a  wuss! We then walked up the hill, and J found a shop that sells model railway bits, luckily, it was closed, but a return visit is on the cards. We passed a lovely little deli, and J had  a taster of a few cheeses ,to go with our salmon for tonight. We also bought a scotch  egg, called a black  watch, as it's covered with black pudding. On the way back, only about five minutes from our apartment, we passed a pub, called Middle Earth. We were both thirsty, so we went in, and I had a glass of  Guinness  and J had a pint.  It  tasted really good. I don't usually drink in the day, but I am on holiday. Back at the apartment now, and chilling. A good day indeed.
