Ponga

Went climbing this morning, against my better judgement.  Still feeling pretty battered post-conference, but I realised I wouldn't have a chance for another couple of weeks after this, so I made myself go.  Anyway, it was fine and I climbed really well.  I may regret it tomorrow, but feeling ok so far....

Had another play with my new macro lens today, and was casting around for things to photograph - I thought this piece of Ponga (tree fern) wood I brought back from New Zealand made for a rather interesting image.  It has such beautiful patterns underneath the bark.

Lovely relaxing day apart from the climbing - and nicely rounded off by a walk to Khan's for a delicious dinner.
