Maulbronn
Left the Black Forest, for the second week of holiday (second week, what a luxury!)
Visited Maulbronn, which is a small town, based mainly around a medieval monastery. The guide book gave this two stars of a possible three - for us, it was definitely a three star visit.
Partook of the mandatory Bratwurst and bought some Black Forest ham to take home, from the market which happened to be there. Managed to avoid buying any wool, though, which was impressive as it was hand-spun and hand-dyed, so not like anything I could have bought in the UK.
Then it was off to Rothenburg, which will be our home for the next two nights.
