A House For Essex

Some friends were lucky enough to get selected in the raffle to stay in the wonderful House For Essex, and we were even luckier to get invited to gatecrash for the evening. Not only did we have the chance to explore inside this amazing artwork, we were cooked a delicious meal and had a lovely evening drinking wine. The house is the latest work by the brilliant Grayson Perry, and is a shrine to Julie. We went to look round the outside at the start of the summer, so getting a rare chance to explore inside was just fantastic. The house is full of Julie's story and Perry's signature tapestries and ceramics. Definitely an evening to remember.
