The Amazing World of M.C.Escher
Took the family to check out the Union of South Africa at Waverley. This time we went inside, not a bad vantage point (see extra) although I think I'll try a different platform next time to see if I can avoid the fence and sign. Had lunch at the Stockbridge Market and went on to the Modern Art Gallery to see the Roy Lichtenstein and M.C. Escher exhibitions. Both were great. I was surprised we had to wait in a queue to see the Escher exhibition. We didn't have to wait very long and, anyway, it was well worth it. The prints are truly originals. Highly recommended.
